Dear Friends,
“My heart is ready, O Lord, my heart is ready.” (Psalm 57:7)
I remember the first time I considered going on a Christian retreat. When I came across the brochure for a residential retreat on a table at a film festival, I had the sense that it was long overdue for me to pause and reflect on my life.
What caught my eye was, in part, the structure of the retreat. There was time for prayer, time for conversation about that prayer, and opportunities for deep reflection about how I was living my life.
